It’s the 2nd day of my 365 day Thanksgiving challenge. It would be too easy to say thanks for the UNLV win over North Carolina in basketball or the USC win over UCLA in football as both schools are my alma mater. However, that’s not the spirit of this challenge. I want it to be more than that.
Day 2 – Thanks for the hospitality that the server of our family’s favorite Mexican restaurant has shown to us. We’ve visited the restaurant 5 or 6 times since we moved to the area. He’s welcomes us with a smile and has learned our favorite dishes. His kindness is sincere and is the main reason why we want to come back (although the tortilla soup is pretty good too). He’s made us feel welcome in a new city. I think hospitality that people like him provide is often taken for granted…not today.
